We work with partners and organisations that have shared objectives in assisting and promoting the textile industry. These relationships are key to helping the sector’s businesses perform better and reach new markets.
We are looking to build on these mutually beneficial partnerships and are always interested to hear from public and private sector organisations and other industry associations interested in collaborating to offer our members information and resources.
The UK Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT)
UKFT is the umbrella organisation that represents the fashion and textile sector both domestically and overseas. Its members include major suppliers to high street retailers and brands. On the export side, UKFT offers practical help to British exporters as well as to overseas buyers, agents and press.
A key benefit of our membership is access to the valuable member benefits of UKFT.
The STLA works closely with the Scottish Enterprise textiles team to strengthen the textiles industry in Scotland by supporting research and development, collaboration and innovative ideas that will maximise global opportunities.
The ‘Textiles Scotland’ brand was established by the Scottish Textile & Leather Association (STLA) & Scottish Enterprise to increase awareness of the scope and scale of the businesses involved in the Scottish textile and fashion industry – a community of 600 companies.
